Ordering, pickup, availability and what makes our menu different.
Montrose Cannabis is an independently owned, award-winning cannabis retailer in Pickering, Ontario. We curate premium craft products, fresh lots, exotic genetics and practical value options for recreational customers in Ontario and registered medical patients across Canada.
We are located in Pickering, Ontario and are normally open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Hours may change on holidays, so check our Google Business Profile or call 905-239-5300 before visiting.
Browse the online menu, add products to your cart and complete the secure checkout. Recreational customers can choose pickup or local delivery when available. Registered medical patients can order from the medical menu for delivery across Canada.
Yes. Select pickup at checkout and wait for the ready-for-pickup notification before arriving. The person collecting the order must be 19+ and present valid government-issued photo ID.
No. Adults 19+ can shop our recreational store with valid ID. Medical ordering is a separate pathway for registered patients with a valid medical authorization.
Absolutely. Email hello@montrosecannabis.ca with the producer, product and format. Availability is never guaranteed, but our team reviews requests when planning upcoming orders.
Open the sold-out product page and enter your email in the stock notification form. We will email you if that exact product returns. Many drops are limited or rotating, so a past product may not be restocked.
Service areas, timing, ID and receiving your order.
We serve Pickering and many communities across Durham Region and the GTA, including Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Courtice, Clarington and Bowmanville, plus selected areas of Scarborough, North York, Markham and nearby communities. Enter your address at checkout to confirm current availability.
In Pickering and nearby areas, we aim for delivery in approximately one hour during delivery hours. Timing depends on order volume, traffic, weather and distance. Your checkout window and order updates provide the best estimate.
Free local delivery is available on qualifying recreational orders. The current minimum and eligible zone are shown at checkout, which is the final source for delivery pricing.
Order at least 15 minutes before the next hourly window. For example, an order placed by 5:45 p.m. may be scheduled for 6-7 p.m.; an order placed after that cutoff moves to the following available window.
Yes. Cannabis cannot be left unattended. The person receiving a recreational order must be 19+ and show valid government-issued photo ID. The name and delivery details must match the order requirements.
Orders are packed securely and with discretion. We still follow all identification, transportation and delivery requirements that apply to legal cannabis orders.
We will contact you using the phone number or email on the order when a material delay occurs. If you need help, call 905-239-5300 with your order number.
Fresh drops, potency, formats and how we curate the menu.
Our main recreational new-drop update is typically published Thursday after 3 p.m. Timing can vary with receiving and inventory processing, so check the New Drops collection and newsletter for the latest releases.
We look beyond hype. Our team considers the grower, genetics, cultivation quality, package date, freshness, terpene profile, format, value and customer feedback. The goal is a focused menu with character, not endless duplication.
Current potency and cannabinoid information appears in the product details and on the product label. Potency varies by lot. Always use the package label as the final source, and remember that a higher THC number does not automatically mean a better experience.
“Exotic” is an informal market term for distinctive, often limited cultivars selected for unusual genetics, aroma, flavour or appearance. It is not a regulated quality grade, so we still evaluate each lot on freshness, cultivation and overall value.
These labels describe broad lineage or market categories, but they do not reliably predict how a product will affect every person. Cannabinoids, terpenes, dose, tolerance and individual response all matter. Start low and choose based on the full product profile.
Start with a low dose and a simple format. For edibles, Health Canada advises beginning with 2.5 mg THC or less and waiting for the full effects before taking more. Our staff can explain product formats, but cannot provide medical advice.
We regularly carry products marketed with these dietary attributes. Check the ingredient list, nutrition panel and allergen statements on the package because formulas can change. Use the website filters where available or ask our team for help.
Registration, authorizations, ordering and national delivery.
Yes. Montrose supports registered medical cannabis patients and ships eligible medical orders across Canada. Medical ordering is separate from recreational pickup and local delivery.
Start with our medical registration pathway. You will complete an intake and, where appropriate, meet with an authorized healthcare practitioner. Once the required medical documentation is accepted and your registration is active, you can order from the medical menu.
We can help eligible adults navigate the intake and practitioner-assessment process. A healthcare practitioner makes the clinical decision; approval is not guaranteed. Montrose staff do not diagnose conditions or promise treatment outcomes.
Yes. We ship eligible medical orders to registered patients across Canada, subject to your registration, authorization, product availability and any destination restrictions. Free shipping is currently available on qualifying medical orders over $175.
Medical orders are governed by the patient’s authorization and federal rules rather than the recreational 30-gram transaction limit. The amount shipped at one time cannot exceed the lesser of 150 grams or the equivalent of 30 times the patient’s authorized daily quantity, subject to the amount available on the registration.
Both legal channels source products from federally licensed producers, but the purchasing framework differs. Medical access requires valid medical documentation and registration, can support national delivery and follows authorization-based possession and ordering rules. Product selection and pricing may also differ.
Our team can explain product information and the ordering process, but product guidance is not a substitute for medical advice. Discuss symptoms, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and potential interactions with a qualified healthcare professional.
Accepted methods, taxes and account benefits.
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may differ between recreational and medical orders. If a payment fails or you need an alternate method, call 905-239-5300 before submitting a second order.
Yes. Eligible recreational purchases can earn rewards under the current loyalty program terms. Sign in to your account to view your balance and available rewards. Medical promotions and eligibility may be handled separately.
Discounts and eligibility can change. Email hello@montrosecannabis.ca or ask in store before ordering so our team can confirm the current offer and any required verification. Discounts may not be combined.
Yes. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout and shown before payment.
Unless an offer specifically says otherwise, discount codes cannot be stacked. Product exclusions, minimums and expiry dates may apply; the checkout total reflects the valid promotion.
Ontario purchasing rules and responsible-use basics.
You must be 19 or older. Valid government-issued photo ID may be required in store, at pickup and when a recreational delivery is received.
Ontario recreational retailers may sell an adult up to 30 grams of dried cannabis, or its legal equivalent, in a single transaction. The cart will help calculate product equivalencies.
Age verification is required to prevent sales and deliveries to minors and to operate within Ontario’s legal cannabis framework.
Returns depend on the issue and the product condition. Keep the original package, receipt and lot information, and contact us promptly. Opened cannabis generally cannot be returned for preference-based reasons; defective-product claims may require photos and producer information.
No. Cannabis can impair coordination, reaction time and judgment. Do not drive or operate machinery while impaired, and never travel across an international border with cannabis.
Keep cannabis in its original child-resistant packaging, securely stored away from children and pets. Follow label directions and keep products separate from ordinary food and medicine.
